This definition of discipline can be really big on people’s shoulders, because it needs a lot of energy, and it is always linked to pushing yourself, and developing some sort of friction.

Even for the important things that we can’t see like focus, discipline, procrastination, all of that are routines.
Knowing that is very helpful for the mere reason that we have the mechanics of how routines work, and how to build them, and all we require is to replicate that onto the discipline.
The question that you might ask: How could we do that?
By simply doing small things constantly over an extended period, and develop things out incrementally as you go and reward yourself whenever you end up the job.
Practices are developed by repeating, and the something that gets you to duplicate things is the reward through the dopamine system. Why not take that cycle and mixte it with attaining small wins, so we can cultivate discipline.
For example, for my case, blogging is still a battle for me, but it’s necessary to construct this brand, instead of pushing myself, using willpower, what I do is this:
I began writing only for 5 minutes for about 10 days, then I add another minute or 2 for more than 7 days, etc. The objective here is to show up, and to be constant which is the essence of discipline.
The benefit was staying with the practice itself because for me it was an accomplishment.
The truth is I still dislike it a bit, however, it ended up being a lot easier now to blog.
Idea 3: Suppress Bad Habits
